They are both quite different, so it depends who what you're looking for from your electronic musics. But if you're saying who do you idolise most, it would be Aphex for me, as he opened my eyes to new worlds. (I just answered properly again - shot me, shot me now)
Autechre hands down for me (btw you spelt it wrong) ;) as much as i like afx Autechre have put out a much more impressive body of work (god that sounds gay)
